BFS Believes in Helping Borrowers Going Through Exceptional Hardship

BFS, the mortgage servicer for the Balikatan accounts, recently launched the Social Case Window Program for the Filipino-in-need.

“We have seen individuals trying their best to save their homes, but due to extreme hardship cannot make it happen,” starts BFS.  “We have been the sole entrant in the business of mortgage servicing in the Philippines for eight years, and have seen cases like this.  As we are committed to doing all we can to help any hardworking accountholder resolve his loan, we have to make special cases for those who can’t make ends meet due to extreme circumstances such as terminal illness.  This is what led us to launching the Social Case Window Program.”

“Our accountholders are important to us.  Their welfare and homeownership are foremost on our minds.  This is especially true of those who are in dire straits and work hard to resolve but still cannot make the cut.  Borrowers who believe they qualify should apply to the program if they can show proof of their hardship,” shares BFS.

“Since we acquired the Balikatan portfolio eight years ago, BFS has found different ways to reach out and make itself available to its borrowers.  Aside from its Makati, Alabang, and Davao offices, BFS has trunklines 756-6230 or 750-3888, a Davao direct line through (082) 221-0809, and a PLDT toll-free outside of Metro Manila and Davao through 1-800-10-2255-BFS (237).  Texting can also be done through 0922-9999-BFS and a face-to-face negotiation can be done with an Account Specialist by accessing www.bfs.com.ph and clicking on B-Online.”
