BFS Launches the Home Saver Offer for Qualified Balikatan Borrowers

Balikatan accountholders who still have to resolve their highly-delinquent accounts are entreated to call their Account Specialists to find out if they qualify for the new special offer of BFS.

Called the HOME SAVER OFFER, the program gives the most affordable settlement offer yet for qualified accounts.  As with all Balikatan accounts, BFS offers customized packages that take into consideration total past due obligation, capacity to pay, and account history.

BFS believes in preserving the dignity of its account holders by working with them to settle their accounts so that they may save their homes.  A financial resolution is always the best avenue for both the borrower and BFS, and makes the most economic sense.  Foreclosure is always the last resort and occurs only when account holders refuse to negotiate or work with BFS to arrive at a mutually-acceptable settlement amount.  This program offers to counter the court foreclosure process to maximize borrower resolutions outside of foreclosure.

Borrowers have already started receiving written notices of their eligibility for the HOME SAVER OFFER with their customized settlement offers.  BFS Account Specialists have also started calling qualified account holders ahead of their receiving their written offers.  If they have not received a letter or a phone call, account holders should contact BFS and inquire about the special offer.
