Loan Settlement Program Launched for Distressed Borrowers

(People’s Journal) BFS, the exclusive mortgage servicer and asset manager of Balikatan Housing Finance Inc. for its multi-billion peso residential loan mortgage portfolio, recently launched its Social Window Program (SWP)for account holders who have been experiencing difficulties settling their loans due to extreme proverty or serious illness. SWP aims to provide Balikatan account holders more options in settling their loans. Borrowers who believe they qualify should apply to the program if they can show proof of their hardship. “Some are trying their best to save their homes, but cannot make it happen because of extreme difficulties. BFS Home Saver Offer Encourages Qualified Borrowers to Resolve Early to Avail of the Most Affordable Settlements Yet

Each Balikatan borrower is encouraged to contact his/her Account Specialist right away for the newest special offer, the HOME SAVER OFFER. The program allows borrowers to enjoy the most affordable settlement packages so that they may finally call the properties their own. As with all BFS programs, the offers are customized to each account that take into consideration total past due obligation, account history, and capacity to pay. The program offers to counter the court foreclosure process to maximize borrower resolutions outside of foreclosure. BFS recently launched the new HOME SAVER OFFER for qualified Balikatan clients with delinquent mortgages. For a limited time, account holders may be qualified to avail of the most affordable settlement yet. For Balikatan accountholders who have delinquent mortgages dating as far back as 29 years, BFS, the official mortgage servicer of Balikatan, continues to provide special offers so that borrowers may resolve their accounts and save their homes. The program offers to counter the court foreclosure process to maximize borrower resolution outside of foreclosure.
