BFS Does Everything Possible to Help Borrowers Resolve Their Housing Loans

Since acquiring 52,289 highly delinquent residential loans from the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation in 2005, BFS has helped thousands of borrowers become homeowners.

To provide resolution options, BFS continues to exhaust efforts to reach borrowers through various information campaigns, the establishment of five offices and several communication platforms.

Shares Juno Henares-Chuidian, Head of Corporate Communication, “To reach our borrowers and give them the opportunity to contact us, we send out letters, call and text through phone, distribute newsletters and flyers, and even introduced a real-time online service on our website called B-Online.”

Account specialists also visit homes and do field processing. “These engagements provide an opportunity for borrowers to clarify their account status onsite, and makes them realize how much we want to help them achieve closure.”

Panalo Max, a recent promotion, condoned 100% penalties and up to 100% interest for qualified borrowers. One such borrower is Lorena Moral of Pacita Complex in Laguna. “My house means a lot to me. BFS is proof that our housing loan problems can be addressed if we are serious about resolving.” BFS has helped nearly 24,000 families address their long-standing housing loans and will continue to provide ways to enable qualified borrowers to own their properties.
